The channel featured a mix of documentaries, historical reenactments, and reality shows that explored the history, technology, and stories behind military aircraft and aviation. Some popular shows on Discovery Wings included "Wings of the Luftwaffe," "Great Planes," and "Great Raids of World War II." Discovery Wings was rebranded as the Military Channel in 2005 and later renamed the American Heroes Channel in 2014.
